What sets us apart

When tolerances decide altitudes.

We manufacture what standard contract shops aren't equipped for: 5-axis machining of medium and large parts in aluminium, carbon (CFRP/GFRP), cast and model-making materials. From the CAD model through model and mould making to 3D metrology - all under one roof in Büron LU.

  • Aerospace heritage. Structural parts that have seen space (ESA / ATV / ISS).
  • ETH research. Partner for PAC-Car and AMZ Formula Student.
  • Vertical depth. CAD-CAM, models, moulds, milling, metrology - one address.
  • Material breadth. Aluminium, carbon CFRP/GFRP, cast, MDF.
Aerospace reference

What has been to space.

As part of the ESA programme ATV (Automated Transfer Vehicle), CNC Dynamix manufactured structural components that flew to the International Space Station aboard the supply spacecraft. Iso-grid design in aluminium, precisely milled from solid - aerospace standard, made in Büron.

Materials

From the MDF gauge body to the carbon structural part.

Four material worlds under one roof. We switch between aluminium aerospace and MDF fixtures - without handing the order over to anyone else.

M.01

Aluminium

The aerospace standard. Lightweight, excellent machinability, precisely milled surfaces.

e.g. ATV wall element, structural components

M.02

Carbon

CFRP / GFRP

Fibre composite for maximum stiffness at minimal weight. Demanding to machine - we've mastered it.

e.g. Finished carbon parts, high-tech structures

M.03

Cast

Cast machining with a before/after contrast: matte raw parts turned into precisely milled functional surfaces.

e.g. Machine components, housings

M.04

Model-making

MDF / wood / plastic

For gauges, fixtures and model making. A material breadth that specialists often don't cover.

e.g. Sand-casting moulds, welding gauges

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

01 Which materials do you machine?

We mill aluminium, carbon (CFRP/GFRP), cast and model-making materials such as MDF and wood. This breadth - from aluminium aerospace structures to MDF fixtures - is something many specialised contract shops don't cover.

02 Do you make one-offs and prototypes, or only series?

Both. We produce one-offs and prototypes to series tolerance as well as small series. In prototype and mould making, the single part is our everyday work.

03 How large can workpieces be?

Our 5-axis gantry machines handle parts with travels up to 6 metres. This lets us machine large structural components that standard machining centres are too small for.

04 Which CAD file formats do you accept?

STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF, VDA, STL as well as CATIA V4 and V5. You upload your files directly via the enquiry form - on request under a prior non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

05 Do you have experience with aerospace requirements?

Yes. Among other work, we manufactured structural components for the ESA programme ATV that flew to the International Space Station. Aerospace-grade precision in aluminium iso-grid design is part of our core.

06 How does an enquiry work and how fast do I get a reply?

You upload your drawing via the enquiry form or call us. We check feasibility and usually get back to you within 48 hours with an assessment and quote.
